Core competencies

ESPRiT Engineering is agile and pioneering in a wide range of fields: from function development, software development and rapid prototyping to software architectures, embedded systems and driver assistance systems, right through to requirements management and change management. Our core competencies fall into three areas: system design and integration, component development, and processes, methods, and tools.

We design, specify, and optimize complete systems, such as a vehicle’s onboard network. We also provide the interfaces between the individual components.

In addition to the design and rollout of strategic topics (e.g. safeguarding strategies), we provide operational support to our clients in achieving the required quality of functions at key stages of the development process.

We further handle the integration of subsystems into overall systems and test them for quality and functionality. Our solutions are already powering tomorrow’s technologies such as hybridization, electrification and energy storage, which we develop together with our clients.

We are well-versed in developing a wide range of functions within components—from powertrain control and autonomous driving to electrification and alternative drive systems.

Our work in the field of component development includes precise specification, system architecture and modelling, model design and simulation along the V-model. Validation and verification of individual functions are carried out both on the PC and through final vehicle testing, ensuring we meet the highest quality standards expected by our clients.

We implement these functions using modern model-based software development methods, including automatic C code generation and validation based on the functional model.

Our project management responsibilities include scheduling, risk analysis and evaluation, as well as the preparation and moderation of meetings. We also analyze, visualize, and optimize processes—focusing on reducing complexity, improving interfaces, and increasing transparency.
